Salaried GP +/- Trailblazer Fellowship

Job Description

We welcome applications from enthusiastic and committed GPs who would be interested to join our well-organized and friendly practice.

The vacancy is for 4 sessions over 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday) to complement the current team of clinicians.

We are looking for a GP who will integrate well, contribute to Continuing Practice Development and actively participate as a member of the wider practice team, whilst working within one of Nottingham’s more deprived communities.

The post is particularly suited to anyone who enjoys regular sessions in the same practice, with all the benefits that brings in terms of continuity of care and team working.

We are offering:
An initial 1-year post +/- the Trailblazer Fellowship, after which there may be an opportunity for extension as a salaried GP. Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

• Training Practice with 4 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP and up to 2 GP Registrars.
• 3 Practice nurses, Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist.
• Management Team with Administration, Secretarial and Reception support teams.
• Modern, purpose-built, leased premises (completed May 2015) which provide a pleasant, spacious and energy efficient work environment.
CQC rated ‘Good’.
• High QOF achievers with a list size of around 8500.
EMIS Web Clinical System with DocmanX document management software.
• No extended access work needed and a low visit rate.
• Access to ARRS roles, including Clinical Pharmacist, Dietitian, Social Prescriber and First Contact Physiotherapists, as part of Aspire PCN.
• We are approved to be a host practice for the 2024/25 Nottingham Trailblazer GP Fellowship
Scheme. This scheme, funded by NHS England, provides early and mid-career GPs with an additional 2 sessions per week to be spent on supported study leave.

NB Education sessions will be held on Fridays.
