Bridgeway Practice in Nottingham are looking for an ANP/ACP to join the team.

Job Description

About the practice

  • Small friendly practice – patient list size 5000 and growing
  • GMS practice
  • Extremely close to Nottingham Train and Tram station. Walking distance to Nottingham City Centre.
  • TPP SystmOne clinical system utilising AccuRx
  • Very efficient and experienced administration and reception staff
  • Excellent engagement within our Primary Care Network
  • Two GP Partners, one Practice Nurse and two HCAs along with PCN roles – Clinical Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Admiral Nurse and Social Prescriber
  • Additional roles working at the practice include Physicians Associate, Practice Pharmacist, First Contact Physiotherapist, Senior Mental Health Practitioner, Social Prescriber
  • Teaching Practice for ST2, medical students, Nurse Students, Pharmacist students and student Physician associates.
  • Additional enhanced services including Extended Hours

Post holder requirements

  • The applicant should hold appropriate qualifications to working autonomously. Experience of working in primary care is desirable – but full training can be given to the right applicant.
  • Prescribing qualifications are essential, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute conditions and working within a supportive team of GPs, nurse, HCAs and PCN.
  • A proactive approach to providing and improving high standards of patient care is essential, together with effective time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Attending team meetings on a regular basis – including PLT events, monthly clinical meetings, two monthly Red Card meetings and three monthly MDT meetings.
  • Own transport is essential. Applicants will be encouraged to continue their professional development within a supportive environment. This post attracts entry to the NHS Pension Scheme.
  • All successful candidates will be subject to satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
