Riverside Health Partnership are a busy four-site training practice in Bassetlaw, with sites in Retford, Harworth, Misterton and Gringley-on-the-Hill. They have six partners, five salaried GPs and 5 ANPs and an experienced and cohesive management team. Retford is the main site, a lovely market-town close to the A1 and only 1.5hrs by rail to London. Easy commuting distance from Doncaster, Mansfield, Lincoln, Rotherham, Sheffield. Good schooling and lovely villages and abundance of countryside pursuits.

They are Tier 2 sponsors and would welcome applicants who require visa support.

The practice have changed their work patterns to safeguard the wellbeing of colleagues and meet the demands of our patients. They have:

• Reduced rotas, 14 patient contacts per session
• 15 min telephone or F2F appts for higher quality consults and better work environment
• Flexible work session times/rotas to be family-friendly
• Active practice mentorship with regular support group (daily meets)
• Tier 2 visa sponsor
• Training practice with 4-5 Registrars
• Five ANPs seeing undifferentiated clinical presentations, performing home-visits
• Low visiting practice
• Dedicated Paramedic visiting service
• First Contact Practitioner Service
• Great support from PCN social prescribers and health and wellbeing team
• Practice Pharmacists leading medicines management team
• Supportive of GPs wishing to apply for post-CCT Fellowship
• New to partnership schemes are also available as appropriate.
• They encourage specialist interests – currently they have specialist interests in education/training, palliative care, women’s health, diabetes and insulin initiation, substance misuse, rheumatology and steroid injections
• Monthly in-house and locality-wide protected learning
• Highly invested in GP Registrar, staff training and development
