An exciting opportunity has come up for a forward-thinking and effective Practice Manager to join a 5 partner training and dispensing practice in the South East of England.

Job Description

Westerham Practice is a friendly 5 partner training and dispensing practice with surgeries in Westerham & Sundridge. We seek to appoint a forward thinking and effective 3/4 to Full Time Practice Manager, who will continue to develop and drive the Practice forward in the changing Primary Care environment.
Experience in leading, managing and developing a team is essential for this exciting opportunity. Candidates must be passionate about developing high quality, effective patient services and business practices. Requirements include a strategic thinker with a sound working knowledge of business management, HR, finance, and excellent communication skills.
As leader of the management team, your responsibilities will include the development and implementation of business strategies, policies and practices, in addition to the general day to day delivery of high quality GP primary care services. You would also be involved in representing the Practice at local Network and CCG meetings.

  • GMS practice with list size of 8000 patients (2500 dispensing patients)
  • 5 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs. 1 Doctor on GP Retainer Scheme and Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • Established and enthusiastic team of Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistant, Receptionists and Administrators
  • Fully computerised and paper lite practice using EMIS Web computer system
  • CQC rated good
  • Consistently high achievers in QOF
  • Actively participating in the local Sevenoaks Primary Care Network
  • Modern well equipped premises

Experience of working in Primary Care is desirable although not essential.
