"We were looking to change our Telecoms supplier and knew that a few other practices within our patch were also considering the same. At a Practice Managers forum, two of us elected to see suppliers and met back with the other managers to look at our findings, both to save duplicating work and we thought we may be able to negotiate a better deal if purchasing as a group. Two companies were shortlisted and demonstrations of the systems were arranged, one of which was Atech Systems.

They came with LMC buying group approval – which did make a difference in our decision making process. We were offered reduced call rates as a member of the LMC buying group. A Samsung engineer also attended and offered 5% reduction on the cost of the hardware should more than two practices choose their system. 

We were one of three practices who subsequently decided on Atech as their preferred provider. We transferred our lines and calls over to them almost immediately and our hardware has been recently installed.

The installation itself was painless, practice staff were kept up to date at each stage and the engineer was very patient with them when the phone system ‘went live’! Training took place the following week, however most of the staff had fathomed out how to use the telephone system by this point. The support has been good and we are pleased with our decision to go with Atech.

Telecoms are a minefield and being able to work collaboratively made the process both simpler and more cost effective and I would definitely recommend this approach."
